Power where you need it

During load-shedding, your critical appliances will continue receiving power – either from the sun or your battery. In order to conserve battery power and avoid overload, your appliances will be divided into essential and non-essential loads during the system installation process.

Produce more and save more

Using solar power technology to power your life means you take part in a cycle of productivity where the more you produce, the more you can use, all while saving on energy costs.

Metrowatt solar power systems consist of three parts – solar panels, an inverter and a battery. The solar panels capture energy generated by the sun, which is converted to electricity inside the inverter, which can directly power your home or be stored in the battery for later use.

The system automatically adapts to the state of the grid, day or night, to ensure that essential appliances are always powered. Metrowatt’s hybrid inverters will provide energy savings while the grid is connected, and use excess solar power to charge your battery for use in the evenings or during load-shedding.

When a grid outage is detected, the system will automatically transfer to backup mode, providing power to your essential items, to ensure that you are comfortable and secure in your home.

Power in your hands

The Metrowatt system is monitored and managed through a single, easy-to-use mobile app, anywhere, any time. Track and manage your solar power production, storage and consumption in real time, or over a specific period, to make empowered and informed decisions about your electricity usage.
